Crafting Coral is a social enterprise dedicated to regenerating coral reefs through ceramics, education, and community engagement. We run specialist workshops at ceramic studios and partner with marine conservation organisations that use participant-made CoralPods in reef restoration projects. By using ceramic CoralPods, we help reduce reliance on materials such as steel and plastic cable ties. It’s all clay, and it’s all about education and regeneration.
100% of donations made to Crafting Coral are reinvested into our mission of reef regeneration. Your support helps us deliver workshops for underserved communities, improve our operations, and expand coral restoration efforts.

No. You do not need a SCUBA diving licence to participate.
The coral nursery is typically located 3-5 metres below the surface (depending on tides), and participants can reach it by swimming and snorkelling. If you prefer to stay dry, you can still take part by assisting with coral fragmenting activities on the boat or on land.
Not at all. Our workshops are designed for everyone, regardless of experience or background.
While many of our partners are marine biologists and restoration specialists with years of expertise, no prior scientific knowledge is required to participate and make a meaningful contribution.
